Did you know that Cherry Creek Youth Sports offers seven different sports run primarily by volunteers?  Help your community by volunteering your time to support our youth sports programs!  Players, parents, family, friends, neighbors and community members are all encouraged to become involved as a CCYS volunteer.

We need your help with the following items, in addition to special projects that arise throughout the year:

• Uniform fittings
• Equipment handout
• Field set up/tear down
• Equipment organization
• Attending league meetings
• Fundraising
• Assisting sport commissioners
• Coaching

Coaching Information
If you are interested in becoming a CCYS Coach please complete the coaches application. To be a head coach in CCYS in an AYL governed sport you must be in district for CCYS as defined in the AYL bylaws. Please send the completed form to:  
 

Scholarship Information

We want everyone to have a chance to play! We do not want payment to be the reason that a kid is left behind. We do our very best to be inclusive and strive to help any family that needs it. For those in need, please complete a scholarship application and email it to contact@creeksports.com or mail it to our office (please let us know if you intend to mail your request. Email requests will be processed faster). Please note that scholarship requests will not be reviewed until registration for the particular sport is closed. Please send a reminder via email to contact@creeksports.com once late registration begins to check the status. It is the responsibility of the applicant to send notification that they are still interested in receiving the scholarship. Failure to do so can result in voiding applications as late registration begins. Because each sport operates on its own individual budget, scholarship dollars available may vary and most sports are not able to offer full funds, only partial assistance may be available. Scholarships will only be granted if funds are available and there is room on a roster and/or players are needed to round out a roster. Team requests will be considered but roster spots will not be held prior to registration closing. Partial registrations are not stored nor counted as complete registrations and players will not be placed until either a scholarship is awarded in writing from CCYS or payment is complete. Any family that is awarded scholarship dollars are REQUIRED to volunteer 20 hours (or as needed) during the season which can include field set up/tear down, equipment organization, working special events or camps/clinics, etc. Families in need are only eligible for one scholarship per calendar year unless approved by the sport commissioner and the CCYS Board. Referees
Due to continuing growth in the Bruins program we are currently looking for additional candidates to become  officials. The AYL's Officials provider offers complete training for new officials as well as refresher training for experienced officials.
