2010 Cheerleading

Welcome to the 2010 Cheerleading Season! The CCYS Cheer Program is open to children and teens ages 5-14 (grades Kindergarten - 8th grade). Teams will be organized according to ages. The program introduces participants to the sport of cheerleading and includes clinics, individual coaching, and allows for the particpants to practice their cheer skills by cheering at the CCYS home football games.

Season:
The 2010 cheerleading season will start the week of August 1 and will go through the end of football season, which is usually the 3rd week of November. Games are usually on Saturdays at Willow Creek Park or Village Green Park, but makeup games can be scheduled on Sundays. Practice times will vary and will be at the discretion of the coaches and cheerleader commisioner. The clinic dates and location will be posted within the next few weeks.

Registration:
Registration will be available online starting June 1, 2010. Early registration is from June 1 through July 15. After July 15, there will be a late registration fee of $25 added to all registrations and individuals will only be placed on teams that still have space available. Cancellation fees are $25 up until Aug 1. After Aug 1, there will be no refunds.

Uniforms:
Uniforms include a skirt, shell, and briefs and will cost about $55. There may be other additional costs of socks, turtlenecks, etc. that are also the responsibiltiy of the individual and will be decided on by the individual teams. More information on fittings will be available shortly.

Coaches:
We are still in need of volunteer coaches. If you are interested in coaching a team, please email a Coaches Application to treasurer@creeksports.com  or mail it CCYS. P.O. Box 4158, Englewood, CO 80155. There will be a mandatory coaches meeting scheduled in the next month. The date and location will be posted on the website as soon as it is available.
