2010 General Information
Coaches and Parent Volunteers are needed for Volleyball!  If you are interested or you would like more information please email volleyball@creeksports.com.

Registration:
Early registration begins the first week in December 2009 and runs through January 17, 2010 for the Spring 2010 season. Early registration fees for 5 and 6 year olds is $120 and for 7-14 year olds is $140. Players that register after January 17, will be assessed a $25 late fee and will only be placed on a team if there is still space. There is a $25 fee for all cancelled registrations up until February 20, 2010. After February 20, 2010, there are no refunds.

Player Age:
Creek Volleyball is open to players 5 – 14 yrs.  If your child was 14 years old or younger on August 1, 2009, they are eligible to play. Team placement is determined by AGE on August 1, 2009, not by grade.

Teams:
Returning players are placed onto teams with first priority. New players with completed registration forms are placed onto teams needing players. New teams are always welcome.

Practices:
Practices will be held at various Cherry Creek Schools. They will be 1- 2 hours per week between 5 and 9 p.m. Practices will begin the last week of February.

Games:
Games will be played Saturdays at Sportsbridge in the Inverness Business Park. Games start mid March and run through Mid May. Schedules will be available in March and will be posted at www.aylsports.net, link to volleyball.

Uniforms:
All players are required to wear their assigned complete uniform with the correct roster number on the uniform in order to play in an AYL match. Shorts with logos, writing or colored piping are not allowed. Knee pads are strongly encouraged to be worn at practices and games. Team sock style may be determined by individual teams. You will be notified when uniforms are available for purchase from Sports Authority team sports on County Line Rd.

Coaches:
A mandatory coaches meeting is scheduled for February 18 at 7 pm at Greenwood Village City Hall.  All head coaches are required to complete a Coaches Application and email it to treasurer@creeksports.com  or fax it to 303-662-1103.
